Most days at Scott Lake Lodge begin with a quick flight to the flyout destination - today we are headed to Desmarais Lake
Desmarais is a sprawling lake to the northeast of the lodge with lots of history.
As we've done with many of our lakes, we let Desmarais rest for a few years but we are excited to have it back in the program
There have been occasional trophy Pike caught in Desmarais, but the sheer number of fish caught is the real draw here.
Desmarais features some great weed beds that are home to fast action when pike are the target.
A mere 50 foot walk away, the shortest we have, is one of our finest grayling spots
