Laker Lodge
With the look and feel of relaxed luxury, our inviting main lodge is an ideal gathering place at the end of a great day of Canadian fly in fishing.
Recently remodeled in 2005, the Laker Lodge offers stunning panoramic views of the lake from the front wall of windows. Dining tables are situated so that each one is afforded a lake view.
If you prefer to listen to the loon calls as you watch the sun fade into the lake, the wrap around deck offers the best seats in the house. Take in the sunset and wait for the Northern Lights to perform their magical dance from the soothing hot tub.
Whether you want to relax in front of a toasty fire, tie a new fly or exchange fish stories over a cocktail, the Laker Lodge has the classic Canadian lodge atmosphere perfect to begin and end each day on the island. Peruse the Laker Lodge photo gallery.
Cabins
Offering the same world-class standards of quality as the Laker Lodge our newly renovated and decorated Scott Lake cabins feature individual heating, wood floors, pine paneled walls, modern bath, comfortable beds and daily maid service. You will have to remind yourself just how far from "civilization" you really are. This is not the type of accommodation you would expect in the middle of the wilderness.
Named after the native wildlife, each cabin's decor is unique with its own personality. All are nestled among the spruce trees along a path of freshly cut wood chips, some down by the docks, others tucked back from the shore offering more privacy. Most offer a lake view.
Cuisine
Your day begins with a hearty, home-style breakfast complete with fresh fruits, homemade pastries and breads. A made-to-order hot entrée fortifies you for your fishing adventure ahead. You can look forward to returning in the evening for a glass of wine and an excellent dinner, capped off with one of Chef Shaun’s amazing desserts. The bar is stocked with premier label beverages and wines to compliment each phase of the gustatory experience. If you're planning on starting a diet, wait until after your fishing trip to Scott.
Our famous fresh-fish shore lunches will be just as memorable and just as mouth-watering.
Scott Lake Lodge also operates a fly in outpost camp just north of the 60th parallel: Wignes Lake Lodge. It is the embodiment of Canadian fly in outpost fishing, only upgraded to include an onsite camp manager, along with many other amenities you wouldn't expect.
