With a history of catch-and-release Scott Lake is an unexploited wilderness ecosystem with incredible numbers of lake trout and northern pike. With no more than two dozen anglers per week, around 1000 pike over 40" and 400 lake trout over 35" are caught each season. In addition hundreds of trophy grayling are caught on Scott's flyout lakes and rivers. Really big fish, including pike over four feet and trout over 45", are landed every year.
